Widewaters Hotels has announced the hire of Brighton resident Carlo Peretti as executive chef. Peretti brings over 10 years of experience to his new role at Woodcliff.

Peretti was raised in England and started off his culinary career at Betty’s Café Tea Rooms in his home town of Harrogate. Prior to joining the Woodcliff team, Carlo participated in a culinary competition called Chef Race. Chef Race is a reality show competition for premier culinary experts and airs nationally on BBC America.

Peretti served as the executive chef and taught culinary classes at the New York Wine and Culinary Center. His experience also includes executive chef positions at various locations in the area, including the Esperanza Mansion and Thendara Inn and Restaurant.
